On Sept. 25, Federal Transit Administrator Jennifer Dorn named Kristi Clemens associate administrator for communications and legislative affairs.



Clemens most recently served as senior legislative advisor for U.S. Small Business Administration, where she also acted as key liaison for the Office of Entrepreneurial Development with all White House personnel and coordinated internal communications, marketing and congressional activities.



Her prior experience includes advising the Senate Majority Leader and caucus members on public policy and political issues as deputy director for Michigan Senate Majority Communications Office, as well as serving in several other financial and supervisory posts in state government.
