FTA to conduct supplemental environmental assessment of Twin Cities' light-rail project
advertisement
The Federal Transit Administration (FTA), in cooperation with the Metropolitan Council, will conduct a supplemental environmental assessment for the Twin Cities' Central Corridor light-rail project.
The assessment will address the potential revenue loss by area businesses during construction of the 11-mile line to link the downtowns of St. Paul and Minneapolis.
Two town hall meetings will be held Feb. 17 in St. Paul to gather data and take comments from the public and local merchants. FTA and Central Corridor project staff will discuss the proposed project and the supplemental review process at the meeting.
