FTA to hold real estate symposium for transit agencies

Federal Transit Administration plans to hold its Transit Real Estate Symposium Nov. 14-15 in Anaheim, Calif., hosted by Orange County Transportation Authority and Dallas Area Rapid Transit.
Organizers plan to present sessions on acquiring and managing real estate for new starts, determining compensation for contaminated property, and ordering appraisals and managing the valuation program.
