Ferrara named president of MTA bridges and tunnels

The New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) has permanently appointed Jim Ferrara as president, MTA bridges and tunnels. He has been serving as acting president since January after succeeding Susan Kupferman.
Ferrara previously was vice president of operations for the agency. He has worked for MTA since 1977.
