Fort Worth transit agency to hold meetings on service improvements

Later this month, the Fort Worth Transportation Authority (The T) will host two public meetings to present proposed recommendations on service improvements over the next five years. 

The meetings are scheduled to take place Nov. 18.

The recommendations are contained in The T's "Transit Master Plan," which investigates several different options for making improvements, including local residents' input.

Some of the plan's suggested service improvements include providing more frequent service on existing routes, operating for longer hours, and developing "premium" transit services, such as commuter-rail, streetcar, or bus rapid transit.
