Greater Cleveland RTA to install new fare machines on Red Line

This month, the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (GCRTA) will implement a new fare-collection system on the Red Line.
The proof-of-payment system will eliminate on-board fare collection. In addition, passengers will be able to use credit cards to purchase fares at ticket vending machines. The ticket vending machines also can activate farecards and passes. The authority currently is installing new signs and machines at stations.
