Here comes the judge — from WMATA
advertisement
Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority’s Jeanette Clark is leaving the agency — but not because she’s dissatisfied. She’s been selected for a 15-year term as associate judge with Superior Court of the District of Columbia.
The Judicial Nomination Commission in May 2001 submitted her name to President George W. Bush; the Senate confirmed her nomination in mid-March; and her investiture ceremony was held April 5 at D.C. Superior Court.
Clark ends a 15-year WMATA career as associate general counsel. In 1996 and 1997, she served the D.C. Housing Authority as deputy general counsel.
