Houston Metro swears in board members

Last week, the Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County, Texas (Metro) board swore in members who will represent Houston.

The new members are: Gilbert Garcia, chairman; Allen Dale Watson, vice chairman; and Dwight Jefferson, Carrin Patman and Christof Spieler, members.

They will join Harris County representatives Jackie Freeman and Trini Mendenhall Sosa, and multi-city representatives Burt Ballanfant and Jimmy Stewart.
