Indiana commuter agency proposes ticket price increases

Next month, the Northern Indiana Commuter Transportation District (NICTD) will hold a series of public hearings to review proposed fare hikes.

The agency plans to increase fares 2 percent later this year and another 2 percent in 2007 for its South Shore Line passenger-rail service.
