advertisement
Earlier this week, the Metro Gold Line Foothill Extension Construction Authority issued a request for qualifications (RFQ) for an intermodal parking facilities and enhancements design-build project associated with the Metro Gold Line Foothill light-rail extension.
The project will involve designing and constructing 200-plus-space parking structures and surface parking lots, as well as implementing other amenities at the six stations included as part of the extension’s Pasadena-to-Azusa segment.
The RFQ can be viewed on the construction authority’s website at www.foothillextension.org/contact_us/contracting-opportunities.
The construction authority is overseeing the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority’s $1.4 billion Foothill extension. The 11.5-mile Pasadena-to-Azusa segment is in the final design and construction phase, and scheduled to be complete in 2015, while the Azusa-Montclair segment is in the final environmental review stage.
