L.A. Metro lands federal grant to fund GoPass expansion

With funding from the Congressional Directed Funding process, L.A. Metro will be able to extend the GoPass program through the 2022-23 academic year for students of all 21 community colleges in Los Angeles County.
The GoPass program addresses transportation equity by increasing access to higher education, L.A. Metro officials said in a press release. All L.A. County community college students will be eligible for free rides on all L.A. Metro trains and buses.
