Las Vegas Railway Express names West CFO

Las Vegas Railway Express Inc. has appointed Gregory West chief financial officer to succeed John Zilliken, who assumed the post of executive vice president and chief operating officer.
West will be responsible for financial strategy, management and reporting, as well the financial development infrastructure for all financial and reporting systems.
West has more than 26 years of financial experience in the railroad industry. He previously served as CFO of the Southern California Regional Rail Authority, which governs Metrolink. Prior to joining Metrolink, West served as treasurer and assistant secretary for the Florida East Coast Railway, where he was employed for 25 years.
