Luxembourg National Railways orders Alstom trainsets

Luxembourg National Railways (CFL) recently authorized the French National Railways (SNCF) to advise ALSTOM it plans to place a $51 million order for 36 electrical multiple units within the framework of an SNCF November 2000 sales agreement schedule for 629 Coradia Duplex vehicles.
CFL’s 12 three-car, double-deck trainsets would operate at 100 mph in regional service. Bombardier Transport’s ANF industries plans to participate in their manufacture.
