MARTA's Leonard to chair APTA's members committee

The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) announced that board member Gloria Leonard recently was elected to serve as chair of the American Public Transportation Association’s 2010 Transit Board Members Committee.
Leonard will lead the committee in developing and implementing professional development opportunities, educational resources and peer exchanges for transit board members, MARTA officials said in a prepared statement.
Leonard has served on MARTA’s board since 2003.
