MBTA to conduct training drill on commuter-rail line

On Nov. 6, the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) and local emergency responders will conduct an emergency response exercise at the Anderson Regional Transportation Center on the Lowell commuter-rail line.
The authority will simulate a collision between a passenger train and freight train. Emergency responders will be dispatched to the scene to practice response tactics.
