MBTA to expand commuter-rail lot

The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority recently announced plans to expand parking at the Westborough commuter-rail station.
Scheduled to be complete in December, the $500,000 project includes adding 123 spaces to the 301-space lot, which typically is filled by 8 a.m. most weekdays. Westborough Station, which opened in 2002, serves 570 passengers daily.
