Metra, BOMA to host return-to-work summit

Metra and the Building Owners and Managers Association of Chicago (BOMA/Chicago) will host a Safe Return to Work Summit next week to educate businesses on ways to safeguard offices and return safely on public transportation.

The in-person event will be held on March 11 at Metra’s 49th Street Training Center in Chicago and also will be live-streamed.

The summit will address some of the psychological, scientific and business narratives related to COVID-19. The speaker lineup includes industry experts who will offer insights into the measures that are being taken and can be taken to ensure employee safety

“Even with vaccines rolling out, this event creates an opportunity to examine thoughtful measures that can be taken to safely return employees to the workplace today,” said Metra Chief Executive Officer Jim Derwinski in a press release.
