Metra, UP schedule public meeting to review project

Metra, Union Pacific Railroad and Chicago officials have scheduled a March 29 public forum to review proposed plans for streetscape, station and other improvements related to the scheduled replacement of railroad bridges and rail line upgrades along Ravenswood Avenue.
Also available for public review will be proposed direction changes to segments of Ravenswood Avenue along the west side of the rail line and the segment of Leland Avenue passing under the rail line, Metra officials said in a prepared statement.
