Starting Nov. 14, Northstar trains will begin serving a station in Ramsey, Minn., the newest station on the Twin Cities' commuter-rail line.

A ceremony to mark the station's completion will be held outside Ramsey City Hall on Nov. 8, said Metro Transit officials in a prepared statement. Metro Transit operates the Northstar line.

Located between the Elk River and Anoka stations, Ramsey Station is the seventh along the line and the only one added since Northstar began service in November 2009, agency officials said. A skyway from an adjacent parking structure connects to the station.
