Later this month, MTA Metro-North Railroad and the village of Harrison, N.Y., will host an open house to review a proposed downtown revitalization and transit-oriented development project at Harrison Station.

The plan calls for improving station access, adding parking capacity, and redeveloping commuter parking lots into residential, retail and municipal space. The agency and city also propose to build pedestrian plazas and a parking garage.
