advertisement
Metrolink plans to launch 16 new trains and introduce expanded service across southern California starting May 9.
The launch will include four express trains on the San Bernardino and Antelope Valley line; 10 additional trains on the Antelope, San Bernardino and Ventura County lines; added connectivity to and from Bob Hope Airport; and two seasonal inline Empire-Orange County line trains to and from San Clemente Beach.
The additional service will provide commuters with more transportation options as gasoline prices continue to rise, Metrolink officials said in a prepared statement.
