Minnesota rail authority issues RFPs for corridor between St. Paul, Mall of America

The Ramsey County Regional Railroad Authority has issued two requests for proposals for the Riverview transit corridor between Union Depot in St. Paul and the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minn.

One RFP is for a pre-project development study that will evaluate all transit modes and possible alignments with the goal of identifying a locally preferred alternative to streamline the next steps that include an environmental analysis, officials said in a post on the authority's website.

The second RFP is solicting proposals for consultant services for the completion of strategic communications for the corridor.

Responses to both RFPs are due March 13.
