Canadian Transport Minister Jean Lapierre recently appointed Lore Marie Mirwaldt and Kenneth Savage to VIA Rail Canada Inc.’s board.
Mirwaldt practices family law at Mirwaldt and Gray and serves as general counsel to the Cree Nation Child & Family Caring Agency. A chartered accountant and a certified financial planner, Savage holds a post as retiring partner at KPMG.
A Crown corporation created in 1977, VIA Rail operates Canada’s national passenger railroad.
