NFTA's board appoints Minkel executive director

The Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority's (NFTA) board recently named Kimberley Minkel executive director.
She joined NFTA in October 2002 as director of health, safety and environmental quality. Minkel has more than 20 years of experience in environmental and safety regulations and compliance management. She began her career in 1989 at Sevenson Environmental; she also has worked for Mills Electro Minerals Corp. and Xerox Corp.
Minkel is a member of the Western New York Safety Advisory Committee, and has served on the Peace Bridge Authority’s board and the Niagara Falls N.F.B. Development Corp.
