advertisement
Yesterday, New Jersey Transit and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey announced a program designed to make train rides to Newark Liberty International Airport easier and more affordable.
The program includes an extension of NJ Transit’s Family Supersaver fare, which enables up to two children, age 11 and younger, to travel to the airport free with each adult.
In addition, NJ Transit is in early discussions with Continental Airlines on ways to further enhance the rider experience for airport travelers. The agency hopes to have more information on joint efforts in the coming months, NJ Transit officials said in a prepared statement.
