Later this month, New Jersey Transit will increase service to Great Notch Station on the Montclair-Boonton Line under a one-year trial program "in response to community requests," according to the agency.
Four additional weekday trains will stop at the station: two inbound trains in the morning and two outbound trains in the evening. Weekday trains will increase to a total of seven.
NJ Transit hopes to add 75 riders each weekday after the first six months and 100 by the end of the trial period.
