Beginning Sept. 7, some New Jersey Transit passengers will be able to catch an earlier train.

The agency recently reached an agreement with Consolidated Rail Corp. to operate an earlier train on the River LINE. A train will depart the Florence station at 6:08 a.m., stopping at the Roegling station at 6:11 a.m. — 15 minutes earlier than the current schedule. The train will arrive at 6:28 a.m. in Trenton, where passengers can catch connections to Northeast Corridor trains.
