NYCT awards relay-based signal system contract to US&S

New York City Transit (NYCT) recently awarded a $5.5 million contract to Union Switch & Signal Inc. (US&S) to design, install and test a new relay-based signal system for the agency’s Corona Yard.
US&S also will install relay-based interlocking equipment and code system pushbuttons, according to a prepared statement.
The project is scheduled for completion in second-quarter 2005.
