New BART station will enable passengers to access Caltrain service
advertisement
Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) passenger aren’t the only ones who will benefit from the BART-SFO airport extension when it opens June 22.
A cross-over platform at the Millbrae Intermodal Station will enable passengers to access Caltrain’s system.
Caltrain and BART officials are coordinating efforts to make the transition as smooth as possible and help riders learn their way around the system, according to a prepared statement. Dispatchers from both agencies are visiting each other’s train-control rooms and becoming familiar with the other’s procedures.
