New Orleans RTA to cut price of one-day pass
advertisement
On Sunday, the New Orleans Regional Transit Authority will reduce the price for a one-day “Jazzy Pass” from $5 to $3 to encourage more local residents and tourists to use the system’s streetcars and buses.
The reduced price passes will be available at authorized vendors, RTA officials said in a prepared statement.
“Public transportation is a more economic choice of transit compared to the price of one gallon of gasoline,” they said. “Sightseeing and running errands is convenient and affordable in one of RTA’s vehicles.”
