New York MTA introduces online tool to track capital projects
advertisement
Yesterday, New York’s Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) unveiled a new online "dashboard" designed to enable the public to track the progress of various capital projects.
The new web tool features an interactive system that will provide information on project scopes, budgets and schedules. The information will be available for all projects in the 2010-2014 capital program and selected projects still under way from the 2005-2009 program.
The dashboard reinforces the agency’s commitment to provide information to customers that is more concise and easier to understand, said MTA Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Jay Walder in a prepared statement.
