New bus service expands Amtrak access in Wisconsin

Amtrak is providing riders access to more destinations in Wisconsin by adding Thruway bus connections to two Empire Builder stations. A new Amtrak Thruway Bus connection offers service to stations in Columbus and Portage, Wis.
The Columbus connection will provide service to and from Madison, Beaver Dam, Waupun, Fond du Lac, Oshkosh, Appleton and Green Bay; the Portage connection will provide service to and from Westfield, Stevens Point, Mosinee and Wausau.
The Empire Builder operates daily between Chicago and Seattle/Portland via Spokane, Wash., St. Paul, Minn., and Milwaukee.
