North County Transit District's SPRINTER service maintains near-perfect on-time performance

Since opening in March 2008, the North County Transit District's (NCTD) SPRINTER light-rail service has maintained a 99 percent on-time performance (OTP) rate, according to operator Veolia Transportation.
The 22-mile line runs between Escondido and Oceanside, Calif., in San Diego's North County and serves more than 180,000 passengers each month.
