advertisement
Ontario Northland Railway recently purchased 10 passenger cars from BC Rail Ltd.
The railroad obtained five salon; two half-dome lounge; and one full-dome dining/kitchen, kitchen and power cars previously used on BC Rail’s Pacific Starlight dinner train. Ontario Northland will use the full-dome, half-dome and two salon cars on its Polar Bear Express during the 2004 season, and then on the Little Bear train between Cochrane and Moosonee, Ontario.
At peak travel times, the cars will provide increased capacity and greater flexibility for accommodating groups and tours, according to a prepared statement.
