The Delaware River Port Authority's (DRPA) board has approved 24 members of the new Citizens Advisory Committee for DRPA and the Port Authority Transit Corp. (PATCO).

The committee will provide the board with "direct input from citizens who live within the DRPA Port District and who use DRPA and PATCO facilities," DRPA/PATCO officials said in a prepared statement.

The 2011 committee includes 12 members from New Jersey and 12 members from Pennsylvania.
