Parisian express trains, stations to be video-linked

The French national railway, Société Nationale des Chemins de fer Français (SNCF), Nov. 22 chose CS Communication & Systemes to design its Etoile de Corbeil video-surveillance network.
The network would link thirteen stations on the Parisian-regional express train service’s D-line and provide real-time color images, and arrival and departure times.
SNCF and CS Communication & Systemes expect the entire system to be up and running by year-end.
