The Regional Transportation District of Denver will no longer use the University of Colorado designation on the commuter rail A Line name due to the expiration of a corporate sponsorship today.

RTD entered into its first corporate partnership with the university in 2014 as part of the transit agency’s naming rights program. The agency is currently seeking corporate partners interested in retaining naming rights on various services, including the A Line, which runs between Union Station and Denver International Airport, RTD officials said in a press release.

The A Line, which opened for service in 2016, runs 23 miles along Interstate 70.
