The Regional Transportation District of Denver (RTD) this month and next will hold a series of town halls via telephone to share details about the FasTracks transit expansion program and other projects underway.RTD will host 15 telephone town halls, one for each RTD district. The calls will enable RTD's board and staff to speak with members of the communities that the agency serves, RTD officials said in a press release.Future FasTracks projects include the 18.5 mile N Line commuter-rail route and an extension to RTD's Central Rail light-rail line. The agency also is working on the Southeast Rail extension project, which would extend its E, F, and R light-rail lines. In addition, RTD is looking for ways to extend commuter-rail service to Boulder and Longmont, Colorado, as funding becomes available. The town halls will begin March 26 and wrap up April 12.
