The New Mexico Rail Runner Express will resume passenger service on March 8, according to an announcement on the Rail Runner website.
The Rio Metro Regional Transit District — which oversees the New Mexico Rail Runner — is following the guidelines set out by the state to reopen commuter-rail service on a limited basis, agency officials said.
Trains will run on a limited schedule, which currently does not include any weekend service. Trains will not stop at the Bernalillo County, Montano, Downtown Bernalillo, Kewa and Zia Road stations.
