Reading & Northern Railroad will resume passenger excursions in 2025 on the "Iron Horse Rambles," featuring steam locomotive No. 2102.

On Feb. 8, 2025, the No. 2102 will power a Reading-to-Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, excursion. The train will depart Reading Outer Station, make a stop at Port Clinton and travel across the winter landscape of Berks, Schuylkill, and Carbon counties.

When they arrive in Jim Thorpe, passengers will have time to explore the town, take photos of the No. 2102, meet the crew and experience a ride on the Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway, R&N officials said in a press release.

The remaining Iron Horse Rambles will depart in May, June and August.
