The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) plans to add more service across its system, starting this week.
New transit schedules for buses, trolleys and high-speed rail went into effect Aug. 29 and 30. New regional rail schedules will go into effect Sept. 5.
Overall service will increase to 93% of pre-COVID levels. High-frequency bus and trolley routes will operate at pre-COVID levels, SEPTA officials said in a news release.
Parking at regional rail stations will continue to be free through October, and closed station sales offices will reopen by the first week in September.
