SEPTA expands Quick Trip program to all Market-Frankford, Broad Street stations

Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) riders can now use a credit or debit card to purchase "Quick Trip" tickets along all Market-Frankford and Broad Street stations.
The agency late last month launched the Quick Trip program at a limited number of stations along those lines. Through the program, passengers purchase single-trip tickets that are swiped at SEPTA's new "Key" turnstiles.
The Quick Trip program was phased in at additional locations each week after the launch.
Since the launch, more than 15,000 Quick Trip tickets have been purchased.
The initiative marked the first time that riders could pay for subway rides without needing a token or exact cash.
