advertisement
The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority recently marked the completion of the Crestmont station revitalization project in Abington.
The $425,000 project called for replacing a deteriorated wooden shelter and completely rebuilding the station in three months. The building now features a glass-enclosed passenger shelter and new platforms, walkways, signage and lighting. The state helped fund the project.
The station serves as a link for riders traveling north to Warminster or south to Center City Philadelphia and Philadelphia International Airport.
