SNCF awards HVAC contract

French national railway Société Nationale des Chemins de Fer recently awarded a contract to Soprano S.A.S. to supply air conditioning systems for 22 trains in France’s Alsace region.
The $4.6 million order includes integrating, interfacing and installing the units. A subsidiary of Mobile Climate Control Industries Inc., Soprano plans to deliver the units between fall 2003 and 2004, according to a prepared statement.
