The Sacramento Regional Transit District (SacRT) will host a public meeting Feb. 10 to discuss the Blue Line-to-Cosumnes River College light-rail extension project.
SacRT staff members are expected to discuss design revisions to the extension, also referred to as South Line Phase 2, which are the subject of an environmental assessment under way.
SacRT is seeking community input on the revisions, which include updated right-of-way information for project properties adjacent to the Union Pacific Railroad corridor, and modified alignment for the relocation of a 20-inch natural gas pipeline.
When completed, the project will extend SacRT's light-rail system 4.3 miles and include four new stations.
