The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) is seeking public input to help the agency update its 2008-2012 strategic plan.

SFMTA will solicit surveys from the public to gather ideas on ways to shape the city’s future transportation priorities. Survey questions will probe modal use and preferences to gauge San Francisco’s transportation needs.

“As we strive to overcome current economic difficulties, we have an obligation to also look to the future,” said SFMTA Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer Nathaniel Ford Sr. in a prepared statement. “Transportation in the city will grow and change in the coming years, and we want to ensure that it works for all San Franciscans.”
