advertisement
During the next few weeks, the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency will hold several community meetings to outline the Rail Improvement Project.
The maintenance-of-way project targets priority Municipal Railway light-rail segments throughout the city that need crucial maintenance, the authority said. The project will begin this summer at five locations on the N Judah and L Taraval Muni lines.
Crews will replace and repair streetcar tracks and track components, pave and restripe streets, improve sidewalks and upgrade water lines.
