Santa Clara VTA to host contractor forum for BART Silicon Valley Project
advertisement
Tomorrow, the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) will host a design-build contract information forum for the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) Silicon Valley Project.
The forum is designed to provide contractors an opportunity to learn specifics about the upcoming design-build project for the 10-mile Berryessa Extension, the first phase of the 16-mile BART extension into Santa Clara County. The program will include details about the project, and the upcoming design-build contract, including the procurement process and schedule.
The contract is estimated at approximately $785 million. VTA plans to issue the request for proposals in early 2011 and is tentatively scheduled to award the contract in fall 2011.
