Sound Transit recently broke ground on the $32.5 million Lakewood Station.
Scheduled to open in fall 2008, the station will feature a Sounder train platform, bus bays and a four-level parking garage. Buses will begin serving the station after construction is completed; Sounder commuter-rail service will be extended to Lakewood in 2010 or 2011.
