advertisement
Sound Transit recently completed its Tacoma Link Light Rail line, which the agency plans to test in summer.
The 1.6-mile line connects the Tacoma Dome Station with Sounder commuter rail, ST Express regional bus service, Pierce Transit and Greyhound bus service, and Amtrak. Once service begins in September, trains will make five stops between Tacoma Dome Station and the historic Theater District.
Tacoma Link construction began in spring 2001.
